Education System:
The education system in Canada encompasses both publicly-funded and private schools, including: community colleges/ technical institutes, career colleges, language schools, secondary schools, summer camps, universities and university colleges. Canadian provinces and territories have developed their own educational frameworks and institutions, thus creating thirteen education systems with similar basic structures. Recognized educational institutions have been authorized to grant academic credentials by their provincial or territorial governments, who also monitor these institutions.

- Technical Institutes and Career Colleges - These Canadian institutes and colleges offer diplomas and certificates in vocations such as automotive repair or hairdressing. The courses are usually more practical and "hands-on" and less academic in a traditional sense.

Intake dates:
The major intake in Canada, winter session for September and the summer session is on January. Few of the private colleges provide intakes on July to March.
- Tertiary: Except Quebec education system the other tertiary education follow the government rules.
- Institute of Technology: As a component of the Canadian university system, University Colleges offer students a choice of either academic oriented University Degree programmes or the more practical-oriented College Diplomas and Certificates. As a part of the Canadian college system, university colleges are distinguished by their strong student support services, small classes and strong campus environments. They also offer combined degree/diploma programmes and university transfer programmes.
- Private Establishments: Depending upon the course and the length intake may be flexible.
